We sorted the squares, marvelling yet again at how creative you all are, and we have started the long work of making them into throws. Several, including the three winners, will work better as stand alone pieces, and will be shown in the next few weeks. This is throw number 1. Anyone wanting to put a bid please email info@beakerbutton.co.uk with your bid and contact details. The auction is on the 22nd and 23rd September. The throw measures 1.5m x 1m and is a right old mixture of fibres. We think it's lovely, and it's very warm as a wrap, or would look lovely on the back of the sofa.

We have WINNERS
So, we have three very talented winners of the Wool for the Wall competition, photos of the winning squares are below. Before I name them though I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported us and the RDA with squares. We are going to spend the next two weeks making the squares into throws and then do the big measure against the wall on the 30th August. If anyone is free that day we'd love it if you could come and watch or even help measure. And then we'll be auctioning off the throws in a silent auction at our Michaelmas Fair 22nd and 23rd September. I'll post photos of the throws on the blog for people to look at in early September. Anyone wanting to make a bid please email info@beakerbutton.co.uk
